Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with our team and clients to think about brand challenges, strategic solutions and implementation plans

Bridgewater College Art Department is seeking job candidates for the position of Practitioner in Residence: Visual Designer. This full-time contract, non-tenure track position will begin in August 2019.
The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of and current professional experience in visual design for web-based environments and print applications, with expertise to teach introductory and advanced undergraduate and graduate courses in visual design and multimodal communication. The teaching load is seven courses per year, with a mix of courses in the undergraduate Digital Media Arts program and Master of Arts in Digital Media Strategy program. All full-time faculty members also engage in advising, departmental service and collaborative engagement in programmatic initiatives and professional development activities.
