Calling all book designers & bibliophiles!

The 50 Books | 50 Covers competition honors the best book and cover designs each year and aims to identify the 50 best-designed books and book covers of 2019.

Entries are open to anyone for books published in 2019. AIGA members receive a discount. Become an AIGA member today.

Jurors Announced

We are thrilled to announce this year’s jurors: Hilary Greenbaum, Design Director at the Whitney Museum of American Art, Lisa Lucas, Executive Director of the National Book Foundation, Silas Munro, Founder of Poly-Mode and Professor at Otis College of Art and Design, and this year’s chair, Michael Bierut, AIGA Medalist and Partner at Pentagram!

Entries will be accepted through February 20 (11:59 p.m. ET), but there is a $25 late-fee for each book entered after the February 10 deadline (11:59 p.m. ET). All deadlines are final.
