We are excited to announce our latest project, Pick Posters. We’ve teamed up with AIGA KC and Babes Helping Babes to spend 30 days celebrating Black Design. Starting January 31, 2023, we will explore the various Black experience in design. Stay tuned for more info in the upcoming days.

Welcome, Black artists, visionaries, and creatives, to the final year of “Pick Progress”! This is your exclusive invitation to be part of a global movement celebrating Black design and creativity. With over 70 phenomenal contributors from around the world, we have embarked on a transformative journey, and now, we’re on a quest to make history with 30 more incredible creatives.

As the brainchild of a Black designer and citizen, “Pick Progress” is a personal passion project that delves into sharing stories of Black individuals and spotlighting the rich tapestry of Black culture. Having experienced the challenges of being the only Black person in various spaces, this project is a heartfelt endeavor to create a space where Black voices are not only heard but celebrated. Following a life-changing trip to Kenya in 2019, the creation of 31 plastic afro-combs bearing empowering phrases became a symbol of resilience and unity.
