The Executive Board
Our Board of Directors is an all volunteer team voted in by the chapter membership. These hard-working leaders manage the chapter’s business affairs, set the goals and vision for the upcoming year, and lead an even larger team of Chairs and Committees who all work together to build a better design community.
John Drake
President
John opened his agency J Drake Web Design in 2013 as a way to provide custom graphic and web design solutions for Richmond companies looking to set themselves apart from their competition. “We know that each business is unique and we try to convey that sense of individuality in our work. We strive to create a solution that will work to solve whatever problem our client is facing.” As the Creative Director John is responsible for integrating the visual components of a client’s brand and managing their corporate identities. He enjoys creating logos and designing visual solutions to graphic and website problems that clients’ can’t even see or didn’t know existed. He has a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from Old Dominion University.
Andrea Kinnaman

A Virginia State University graphic designer and photographer Alumni. Andrea has been testing the limits of how graphic design can be fine art. Initially, she was a college artist, but after studying Russian Constructivism and developing chronic pain and illness, she began implementing how to spread awareness through designs.
