How do we fully engage organizations to think about the changing landscape of business, culture and society? Inspired by design thinking, this documentary grabs businessman, designers, social change-makers and individuals to portrait what they have in common when facing this ambiguous 21st century. What is design thinking? How is it applied in business models? How are people changing the world with their own creative minds? It is a call to the conventional minds to change and collaborate.
Design & Thinking is produced by Muris, in collaboration with Taipei Design Center U.S. They met in March, 2011, and the film was born out of Muris Media's strong interest in design with a filmmaking viewpoint. Muris Media was founded by Mu-Ming Tsai and Iris Lai in 2011, right after they graduated from Academy of Art University in San Francisco. They studied master’s degree in department of Motion Pictures and Television, and department of Advertising, respectively. Muris is now located in Taipei, Taiwan. Yuhsiu Yang and Melissa Huang were working at Taipei Design Center U.S. when they met Muris Media. Yang had worked for the Taiwanese government-supported organization for 8 years, and Melissa studied Management & Science Engineering at Stanford University. They worked at TDCUS to serve the industries and connect creative culture between Taiwan and the U.S.
