Web Design using Photoshop CS3 and Dreamweaver CS3

Do you design website layouts in Photoshop and then work with a developer to bring that design to life online? How often do you feel that your design lost something in the translation from Photoshop to HTML? This workshop will show you how to jump start your Photoshop design in Dreamweaver® CS3. Understand how to slice up your Photoshop design, copy and paste the elements into Dreamweaver and learn some basic Dreamweaver skills which will empower you to work more collaboratively with your web developer and ensure your online designs remain true to your original vision. Workshop attendees will learn how to:

  • Slice up your Photoshop design for import into Dreamweaver.

  • Reconstruct your design in HTML/CSS in Dreamweaver.

  • Create a Dreamweaver site from scratch

  • Use Dreamweaver templates.

  • Add tabular data to your site.

  • Incorporate Photoshop and Flash animations on your site.

  • And more…

Please register early. Seminar will be lecture style with a limited number of table seating. The Robins-Starr Humane Center is equipped with wi-fi.
