This year, we are asking our membership to help us understand as completely as possible how members believe AIGA should serve them by discussing some of the tougher strategic choices that AIGA faces.
This is a critical juncture as we begin to restructure AIGA before its hundredth anniversary in 2014. Not only does AIGA need to adapt to serving new design disciplines, but what professionals need from a community of designers is changing as well. Who we serve, what we do, how we communicate and how an association can support the next generation have all changed dramatically over the past decade.
AIGA is eager to adapt to serve the future of the profession as well as meet the need of the immediate challenges. We need your help to move the organization into the future and stay relevant for the next hundred years.
AIGA Richmond is planning two roundtable discussions in the coming weeks. One to be held here in Richmond and a second in Charlottesville, Virginia.
If you would be interested in participating, please contact Volunteer Director, David McIntosh.
